About the Service
The „Șoimeni Community Care" social service, code 8899 CZ-PN-V, is an accredited service established and administered by APDCC through Board of Directors Decision no. 12/15.04.2025. Accredited under Certificate series AF, no. 00012495. The purpose of the service is to ensure access of eligible elderly persons to social services, prevent social isolation, and provide family members with access to information and support.
Main Activities
The main activity consists of the transport and delivery of hot meals to the homes of elderly persons unable to mobilise independently — three times a week, in 3 villages of Păuleni-Ciuc commune: Șoimeni (Csomortán), Delne and Pálfava (Păuleni).

- Transport and delivery of hot meals at home – 3 times per week
- Information and counselling on social rights and available services
- Accompaniment to prevent and combat social isolation
- Support for instrumental activities of daily life (shopping, paying bills)
- Facilitating access to medical services
Result
The Șoimeni community care service represents a concrete and necessary intervention for the vulnerable elderly population in rural areas. APDCC aims to expand the number of beneficiaries to the maximum capacity of 60 persons and to broaden the range of services.
