"Safe School" Project
The "Safe School" is a pilot initiative with Márton Áron High School as partner beneficiary. The project aims to develop an organizational development program that facilitates the practical implementation of legislative requirements regarding school safety and mental well-being.
The program is based on situation assessment and evidence, combining current state analysis with specialist literature and applicable legislation.
Goals
- Preparing a situation assessment of the school's current climate, safety level and psychosocial stress factors.
- Developing procedures, regulations and practices to ensure the well-being and safe atmosphere of the school community.
- Creating educational materials that teachers can use in violence prevention and promoting respectful relationships.
Target Groups
The pilot project's main target group is the entire school community, especially students and teachers, as well as parents.
Indirect beneficiaries will be other educational institutions that can adopt the developed and tested model.
Relevance
The school community has recently faced several difficult situations and conflicts, negatively affecting students' and teachers' well-being, community cohesion and school performance.
Budget
33,590 RON, of which 28,000 RON funded by Miercurea Ciuc City Hall.
