About the Project
The project responded to acute mental health needs among young people, providing an educational and artistic framework for discussing anxiety, depression and academic stress. The central activity was the play „Drognapló" (Drug Diary), based on the work of Kubiszyn Viktor, directed by Faragó Zénó — a performance created especially for young people and parents.
Implemented under the project „Lépéselőny – preventive performances and short films for young people in Transylvania".
Activities Organised
- 10 theatre performances of „Drognapló" (5 morning shows for students + 5 evening shows for parents)
- Guided discussions after each performance, led by a psychologist and the artistic team
- Documentation and psychological collaboration activities throughout the project
- Opening and closing conferences
Impact
The project reached 180+ students in 6 schools. The increase in requests for psychological support after performances confirmed that the dramatic format successfully opened a pathway to emotional processing.
Result
Theatre proved to be a particularly effective instrument: it allowed students to explore difficult emotions and situations in a safe setting, facilitated by psychologists and artists. The increase in requests for psychological support after performances directly confirms the project's impact.
